To secure the safety of our patrons and their enjoyment of our programming, we ask that all visitors comply with the following policies.
1. All planetarium programs are 30-45 minutes long. Please be on time and seated when the show begins.
2. The planetarium is much darker than a normal movie theater. No one will be seated once the program is started and the doors are closed.
3. Planetarium programs are not recommended for children under 3 years.
4. All cell phones and other wireless devices must be turned off because they interfere with the operation of our planetarium equipment.
5. No food or drink (this includes gum, mints, and all forms of candy) is allowed in the planetarium.
6. Laser pointers, flashlights, glow-in-the-dark toys, and any other device that emits light are not permitted inside the planetarium during shows.
7. No one will be re-emitted to the planetarium if they leave during a program for any reason. Refunds will not be provided.
8. Sneak peeks of planetarium shows and classes are not permitted because they are very disruptive to our students and planetarium patrons.
1. Groups can schedule a show time and pick a program from the library of shows or the current large format film. We require a minimum group size of 15 people for this privilege.
2. Groups must also understand that while they may have scheduled the planetarium, if seating is available we will take every opportunity to book another group during their scheduled time.
3. Groups may also choose to join a previously scheduled group.
4. Groups need to plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before show time to make restroom trips and to line up for their planetarium visit.
5. The planetarium seats a maximum of 200 people. We cannot exceed this due to fire code.
6. No more than 2 shows can be scheduled for any one group during a single visit.
7. Since our admissions are so low ($2.00 per person), every group member will be required to pay admissions, this includes teachers on school field trips.
